Welcome to theFanalyst! My name is Shyam Ramachandran and I am a graduate of the John Curley Sports Center with a degree in Sports Broadcast Journalism, from Penn State.

I started this sports platform prior to my freshman year of College in August 2018. I have written over 300 articles to this day in both NFL and NBA. From writing at least 2 NFL articles a week during the season, leading up to the Super Bowl, and working on the NBA playoffs, I understand the amount of work & commitment required for this job.

At the start of 2019, I went on to branch out into social media & break the news (NFL and NBA) for several free-agent signings/rumors/injury updates, etc. Check it out on Instagram and hit it with a follow @thefanalyst.live

Being familiar with how fast news stories develop is something that I have been fond of as I am always reporting NFL/NBA news have it be at the airport when I'm catching a flight, or even at a local coffee shop. I love what I do and I’m extremely appreciative of this opportunity to provide you guys with a new and unique sports platform.

Apart from my dedication to theFanalyst, I am an NBA writer/reporter at FortyEightMinutes. I have also contributed as an around the NFL writer at https://fantofannetwork.com/ and worked on the Women’s Basketball beat for The Daily Collegian during my time at Penn State.
